About the Designer
Verner Panton
Originally designed by Verner Panton in 1969 for the iconic Der Spiegel publishing house in Hamburg, the Spiegel lamp serves as an avant-garde architectural statement piece. Its quadratic form features a central circular indentation and a hemispheric shade that softens ambient illumination while eliminating glare.
Crafted from brushed aluminium, this versatile sculptural fixture can be mounted individually or arranged in multiples across walls or ceilings. It includes a 250 cm black fabric cord with an integrated on/off switch for versatile placement.
