Our Story

We first opened our doors in 2015 at the Boan’s warehouse building in East Perth showcasing a carefully curated selection of thoughtfully designed homewares and lifestyle products merchandised amongst an apartment setting. Over the years, with a continued focus on bringing in quality products that excite us and embody the Scandinavian design sensibility, our range has grown to dozens of brands including an extensive collection of furniture and lighting. The brands we represent include international design houses Muuto, HAY, Vitra, Bolia and Ferm Living alongside homegrown brands like Robert Gordon, Orbitkey and Bondi Wash.

With growth came new opportunities and a need for a bigger space. In 2019, we moved into our current showroom in Northbridge - a 19th century house and former backpackers lodge which we lovingly restored. In line with our desire to create an inviting retail experience, we also introduced our cafe concept, Dine by Arrival Hall, where you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or an indulgent brunch amongst our beautiful wares and immerse yourself in our world. 

Through it all, our original ambition remains - to create an inspiring and experiential space that looks to change and improve on the traditional retail setting. Our friendly team are here to greet you with a warm welcome, share our expertise, or prepare you a delicious meal. Our journey is one that is constantly evolving and we look forward to bringing you along with us for the ride.

Founders & Directors

Having established careers in the finance and pharmacy industries respectively, we took a chance to embark on something new after returning to Perth in 2013.

Time spent exploring the globe, learning about different aspects of design and experiencing some truly inspiring retail concepts had left us dreaming of the possibilities of creating something unique back home.

With nothing more than an idea, we chanced upon a light filled converted warehouse in East Perth with its high ceilings and exposed beams and knew it was the perfect place to start. Over the next few months, we set to work sourcing some amazing brands to partner with and all the while undertaking the entire fit out of the store between the two of us.

Looking back, we are so humbled to see where we've come from and excited for what's to come!
