Bruno Rey
Based on the original Rey Collection designed by Swiss designer Bruno Rey in 1971, HAY has teamed up with Dietiker to present the Rey Chair, Stool, and Bar Stool, along with the Bruno Rey Table and Coffee Table, in a new updated form.
Centred around the acclaimed stackable chair design, which combines cast aluminum brackets with wooden parts, the entire collection is unified by a shared language of rounded edges and robust connections.
The collection retains the functionality and resilience of the classic designs and has been modified with new dimensions to accommodate contemporary lifestyle requirements. Rey is available in both the original colours as well as new tones and upholstery options selected by HAY.
This product range is suitable for a range of applications including domestic, public, or corporate settings.

Bruno Rey
Bruno Rey was born in 1933 Brugg, Switzerland. After an apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker, he studied at the Zurich School of Applied Arts, where he attended classes with the pioneering designer Willy Guhl. He opened his own studio in 1968, working on an innovative chair design that was mass produced in 1971 by Dietiker in Stein am Rhein. 3300 as the chair was originally called, later became known as Rey, the most successful Swiss chair of all time. HAY has collaborated with Dietiker to present the Rey Collection by Bruno Rey, comprising the Rey Chair, Rey Stool, Rey Bar Stool, Rey Table and Rey Coffee Table.
